This weekend is our church passion play. Elysa and I are acting in it. We’d love to see you in Walhalla, at College Street Baptist Church. 7PM tonight, 10 AM tomorrow, 7PM tomorrow night.
Besides my clinical practice, I also teach in our medical school’s “Practice of Medicine” course for the 1st and 2nd year pre-clinical students. I routinely assign the students roles to play in front of their classmates (I might be the family member they have to inform of a loved one’s death in the ER, or a patient they have to take a sensitive history on, etc.). They are usually a little reticent off the start, but quickly get into their parts, and give good feedback regarding the process.

Hope your play went well. I remember attending the Passion Play when we were on vacation in the Badlands of South Dakota as a child. Very powerful stuff.
