Wonderful cartoon Sam! Made me laugh out loud. On my last shift a very pleasant elderly lady said “Please excuse me Doctor but I must take this call it’s my children checking on me, do you mind?” We informed her that we did ‘mind’ since she was having a STEMI and we had just got her off the ambulance stretcher. I can’t wait for the next installment of Opposum’s life. Best wishes!
Thank you! I’ll be sure to pass it on to Sam; he’ll be thrilled! A while back I saw a patient rolling in on a backboard after an MVC, hands held above head-blocks, texting like crazy. ‘Positive texting sign,’ my PA calls it. It’s a good prognostic indicator!
