Many of my readers have never heard of the audio CD I did about two years ago with Dr. Carol Rivers, one of the founders of modern emergency medicine. Dr. Rivers has spent years developing board review and career development material. She and I became friends, and she asked if I would be interested in joining her in a recorded dialogue about the problems we face, and how to endure and/or fix them.
The CD, also available as an mp-3 file for download, is titled ‘Let’s Talk Turkey.’ For those of you entering the specialty, for those in residency or even those in the midst of practice, the things we discussed are perhaps even more relevant now than ever to the challenging practice of modern emergency medicine.
