I wanted to share these. They are a little focused on the world of emergency medicine and especially relevant to those of us who work in that world. But the issues they discuss have impacts on everyone who interacts with the healthcare system.
The problems created by the EMTALA ‘anti-dumping’ law. In essence, it made every healthcare problem into an emergency department problem, and that’s just unmanageable now.
