Just curious:  has anyone ever had their continued employment or compensation (in medicine or nursing) tied to patient satisfaction scores, like Press-Ganey?  Or has anyone’s compensation or contract been adversely affected by patient complaints?  I’ve heard of it, but I’d love some stories to back up the rumors.

Certainly, some people have been fired for having lots of complaints, but has anyone experienced it as an institutional policy or contractual matter?

Even if you know someone who would be willing to tell me about it, I’d love to know.  Because frankly, it’s a terrible idea!
