A few months ago I had to update my ACLS for a hospital where I was doing some out of state locums work.  I work full-time in a group that does not require ACLS, since we are all ABEM certified docs.  However, many facilities do require it due to the variation in training and experience among their providers.

Rather than dedicate an entire day to taking the course in person, I took it online through the ACLS Certification Institute.  (See the link below).

It was a wonderful experience and remarkable simple.  The site was easy to navigate, the material thorough and the post-test reasonable.  And it didn’t take an entire day either!

If you need to knock out an ACLS course, please give this company your consideration.  I think you’ll find it time, and money, well spent.
