At least twice each year, we are infested with ladybugs. Horrible, nasty ladybugs that make us have hives and wheeze, that make our eyes red and itchy and swarm on our house by the tens of thousands. They are not cute; they are epic evil.

Twice, I made contact with them and transfered it into my eyes ……eyeball swelled up and produced gelatin-like substance! Once was “bitten” by one on my chest…woke up one morning with it latched on to my skin!

Ladybugs are supposed to be good for your garden! I have to admit, I love them, even in mass quantities – but, then, I’m also not allergic to them. Send them over to Greenville! Actually, crazy as it sounds, my mom used ladybugs to send me little messages for awhile after she passed away several years ago. I believe God allows those we love to reassure us in small ways that they’re not really gone – the trick is to recognize the messages. Actually, yes, it is possible. I think the problem is that many are actually Asian lady beetles, imports. I saw that in one Southeastern state, 25% of folks were allergic! They give us hives and wheezing in my house!
