I want to express my thanks to Dr. James Dobson, and the staff of Focus on the Family.  Dr. Dobson has graciously allowed me to write a number of articles for his organization over the years.  And this month (July, 2007), he has included one of my articles, reprinted from Emergency Medicine News in the Focus on the Family newsletter.  The article is about the lessons I learned as a physician while working with our church's Vacation Bible School last summer.

Dr. Dobson and his organization have contributed, and continue to contribute, powerfully to the cause of Christ, and to helping families with the struggles that face them day in and day out.  I am humbled to use the gift God has given me to contribute to the ministry of Focus on the Family, even in such a small way.
