In 2008, I was blessed to receive a Gold Medal Award, from the American Society of Healthcare Publications Editors, for my monthly column in Emergency Medicine News, which is titled Second Opinion. My thanks to the ASHPE for their kind consideration!

This year, in 2009, I was again blessed with a Silver Medal Award from the ASHPE for my EMN column. Thanks again guys!
